Preparation
  1. Wash the green beans thoroughly and trim the ends. Pat them completely dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a medium bowl, toss the dry green beans with the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until they are evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the seasoned green beans in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  3. Air fry the green beans for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  4. If using Parmesan, sprinkle it over the beans during the last 2 minutes of cooking.

For the best texture, ensure the beans are in a single layer and avoid overcrowding the air fryer. Adjust cooking time depending on your air fryer model, and consider adding a squeeze of lemon or experimenting with seasonings such as smoked paprika or red pepper flakes.
