  2. Core and thinly slice the apples into even pieces, aiming for about 1/8-inch thick.
  3. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar together until well combined.
  4. Toss the apple slices in the lemon juice to coat evenly, then lightly coat them with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Arrange the apple slices in a single layer on a lined baking sheet, ensuring they don’t overlap.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 2-3 hours, checking occasionally, until the chips are completely dried and feel firm.
  2. Allow the chips to cool on the baking sheet before transferring them to an airtight container.

Notes

Ensure uniform thickness in apple slices for even drying. Experiment with spices for added flavor. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
