  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (for the brownie layer)
Glaze Ingredients
  • 1 cup powdered sugar for the glaze
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder for the glaze
  • 2 tablespoons milk for the glaze
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract for the glaze

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter, granulated sugar, packed brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until glossy.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder.
  4. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan, spreading it evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake for 25–30 minutes until the edges are set but the center remains fudgy.
  2. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan.
Glazing
  1. In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, cocoa powder, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Spread the glaze evenly over the cooled brownies and sprinkle with rainbow candy on top.
  3. Allow the glaze to set before slicing into squares.

Notes

For the cleanest presentation, allow the glaze to fully set before cutting. Store the brownies at room temperature to maintain their fudgy texture.
