  • 1 lb Grass-fed beef Ground beef preferred for richer flavor
  • 8 oz Pasta (fettuccine or penne) Choose sturdy pasta to hold the sauce
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 cup Beef broth For deglazing the pan
  • 1/2 cup Heavy cream For creamy consistency
  • 1/2 cup Freshly grated Parmesan Optional, for extra flavor
Optional Add-Ins
  • 1 cup Spinach Fresh or frozen, added for nutrition
  • 1 cup Mushrooms Sliced, for added texture
  • 1/2 tsp Red pepper flakes Optional, for a hint of heat

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
  2. Prepare your pasta according to package instructions in a separate pot.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, brown the grass-fed beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet, cooking until fragrant and the onions are translucent.
  3. Deglaze the pan with the beef broth, scraping up any brown bits.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, letting it thicken slightly.
  5. Toss in the cooked pasta and mix to coat evenly.
  6. If using, add spinach, mushrooms, and mix until the spinach wilts.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, topped with freshly grated Parmesan and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.
