- Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
- Prepare your pasta according to package instructions in a separate pot.
Cooking
- In a large skillet, brown the grass-fed beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet, cooking until fragrant and the onions are translucent.
- Deglaze the pan with the beef broth, scraping up any brown bits.
- Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer, letting it thicken slightly.
- Toss in the cooked pasta and mix to coat evenly.
- If using, add spinach, mushrooms, and mix until the spinach wilts.
Serving
- Serve warm, topped with freshly grated Parmesan and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes if desired.
