Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, and cocoa powder. Mix until well combined.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract and add the eggs, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Fold in the flour and salt until just combined; do not overmix.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are set and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for at least 20-30 minutes before slicing.
