Ingredients

Cake Ingredients
  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
Sauce and Topping
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup cool whip For topping
  • 1 cup shredded coconut For topping
  • 1 cup chopped pecans For topping

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch baking pan to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the German chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat on medium speed until the mixture is smooth, about 2 minutes.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan and air fry for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  2. Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then poke holes in the top using a fork.
Saucing and Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk with the chocolate syrup. Drizzle this mixture generously over the poked cake, allowing it to soak in.
  2. Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, top with cool whip, shredded coconut, and chopped pecans.
  3. For the best flavor, chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
