Preparation
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9 x 13 inch baking pan to prevent sticking.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the German chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat on medium speed until the mixture is smooth, about 2 minutes.
Baking
- Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan and air fry for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then poke holes in the top using a fork.
Saucing and Topping
- In a separate bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk with the chocolate syrup. Drizzle this mixture generously over the poked cake, allowing it to soak in.
- Allow the cake to cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, top with cool whip, shredded coconut, and chopped pecans.
- For the best flavor, chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
