  • 1 teaspoon baking powder To help the brownies rise.

Icing
  • 2 cups powdered sugar To create a sweet icing.
  • 2 tablespoons milk To achieve the desired icing consistency.
  • Sprinkles Optional, for decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and sugar until well blended.
  3. Add in eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, vanilla extract, and salt until just combined.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out slightly moist.
  2. Remove from the oven and allow to cool completely in the pan.
Icing and Serving
  1. For the icing, combine powdered sugar and milk in a bowl and mix until smooth.
  2. Spread the icing over the cooled brownies and add sprinkles if desired.
  3. Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
