Ingredients

Matcha Latte Ingredients
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder Key ingredient for flavor and antioxidants.
  • 1 cup warm milk (dairy or non-dairy) Creates a creamy texture.
  • to taste sweetener (sugar, honey, or syrup) Adjust according to your sweetness preference.
  • as needed ice For iced version of the drink.

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk until it’s warm but not boiling. If you’re opting for an iced matcha latte, you can skip this step.
  2. In a separate bowl, sift the matcha powder to remove any clumps.
  3. Slowly whisk in a couple of tablespoons of the warm milk into the sifted matcha powder until you create a thick, smooth paste.
  4. Gradually stir in the remaining warm milk until the mixture is fully combined and frothy.
  5. For an iced version, fill a glass with ice and pour the matcha mixture over it. Add sweetener to taste, stir well, and enjoy.

Notes

For best results, use a whisk or milk frother to ensure your matcha is thoroughly mixed. Experiment with different types of milk and flavored syrups for variations.
