Preparation
- Prepare the homemade lemonade according to your favorite recipe, then set it aside or chill it.
- Wash the peaches thoroughly and slice them into thin wedges, discarding the pits; reserve about ΒΌ of the peach slices for garnish.
Blending
- In a blender, combine the remaining peach slices with 1 cup of the prepared lemonade and 1 tablespoon of fresh mint. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Pour the peach puree into a pitcher and add it to the rest of the chilled lemonade. Stir gently to mix.
Serving
- Add the reserved peach slices and some lemon slices to enhance presentation.
- Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a slice of peach for a lovely presentation.
- Serve chilled, over ice if preferred.
Notes
Select fully ripe peaches for optimal sweetness. Chill lemonade and avoid over-blending the puree for the perfect texture. Can add a splash of sparkling water for a fizzy twist.
