- In a microwave-safe mug, mix together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until fully combined.
- Add the melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract, stirring until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
- Sprinkle the cinnamon over the batter, then gently mix to combine without over-mixing.
- Microwave on high for 1 to 1.5 minutes until the cake rises and feels firm to the touch.
- Let it cool for about a minute before serving. Optionally, you can top it with additional sugar and cinnamon.
Notes
Serve warm, possibly with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for one day and reheat for 15-20 seconds.
